February – Calendar of the Month Club

Last month I ‘introduced’ you to Scout Creative’s Calendar of the Month Club. Earlier this week I received this month’s calendar and put it together that night! This month’s calendar  is very cute but is pretty small, in comparison to last month’s; which means lots of little intricate cuts and folds. I did discover that using the using the non-blade side of an exacto knife works really well for scoring the folds. Afterwards, of course, I saw that the instructions suggest using a butter knife for this – not sure if this is a new suggestion on the instructions or if I have just missed it in previous months.

    A bone folder is a great investment for folding clean creases in paper. Really cheap, too!
