Happy Pinsday – 2/22/12

Happy Pinsday from sunny, and warm, Fort Worth, TX! I’m currently in Texas for work for the week and am loving the sun and warmth, since I left snow in WI. Went for a walk around the downtown area last night, which is pretty small but cute! Hoping to take advantage of the warm weather again this afternoon and go for a run outside, before my meeting attendees start to get here.

On to this week’s Pinsday…

T-Shirt Rug

This looks pretty easy – thinking I may give it a try and make a small one to replace the old rug in my kitchen.

St. Patty’s Day Cupcakes

I’ve been looking for some fun St. Patty’s Day ideas – doesn’t seem to be too many out there… Though, I came across these cupcakes which I love! Not sure if I’ll actually end up making them; as they would be quite time consuming. But they sure are cute.

Mason Jar Storage

I love this idea for storage for all the small pieces you end up with when doing various craft projects!

Until next week…

Lucky you in sunny Texas. Weather here is supposed to get sloppy tomorrow with some snow accumulation! Love the rug idea and Dad would gladly sample the cupcakes if you make them!

I was so happy to come across the hula hoop rug idea on Pinterest. I need to go rummaging for cheap tees soon because I definitely want to make my own with a color scheme that’ll compliment my dining room.

  3. omg i totally have to make that rug! ive been wanting to do a bathroom rug made from old towels you cut up and tie onto rug canvas but ed will kill me if i cut up his old scratchy towels
